You won't go hungry here. All summer long, we're hosting a rotating lineup of food trucks right on property to keep you well-fed and happy. Think morning waffles and egg sandwiches, juicy burgers, classic ice cream, and a few surprises in between.
As we get closer to the season, we'll announce which food trucks are rolling through each week — so whether you're craving breakfast, dinner, or something sweet after a long day out, there's always something nearby (and easy).

I don't usually write reviews, but this place absolutely deserves it. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The room was spotless, the beds were super comfortable (seriously - best sleep I've had in a while), and the little touches like extra towels and a stocked coffee station.
Absolutely loved staying at KC's Corner. The room had a cozy rustic-industrial vibe, everything felt fresh and thoughtfully designed. You can tell the owners care about guest experience. Great value, especially compared to Cooperstown prices. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!
We stayed at KC's Corner during our family trip to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and it was everything we hoped for. The room was spacious enough for the four of us, super clean, and had all the essentials (and then some). The kids loved having their own bed, and my husband and I were just happy to have a comfortable and clean place to crash after long days of sightseeing.

The Motel was really comfortable and clean, Our room had a refrigerator and microwave, And the staff was really helpful and friendly. And the beds were very comfortable. It was great value for the price.

It's just a short drive to Cooperstown, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and calm of the countryside. We'll definitely be back next season!
Wonderful home-cooked food in a small family-friendly restaurant. We had breakfast and dinner. Stayed overnight and motel was fresh and clean with microwave, fridge and coffee maker in a sparkling clean room with comfortable beds. A great choice only 10 min from Cooperstown and Cherry Valley. I would stay again!
Roadside motel with charming restaurant serving delicious simple meals. The whole place is sparkling clean and the owners and staff couldn't be nicer. The amenities are all there, if a little dated, and the cost per night is remarkably reasonable. This is neither a generic chain motel or a fancy hotel--either of which would have a room rate at least three times higher per night.
The only thing for miles around in Fort Plains. Good hospitality. Kitchen is right out fron and the chef was super cool. We were looking for houses and he came and sat with us and gave us the skinny. Make sure to pick up some locak honey while you're there. $30 for a huge jar of the best tasting honey you'll ever have.
Was looking for about 15 rooms during our Church pilgrimage to a the Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville NY and called the place, Susan was very helpful. All our members liked their rooms and said that they would like to go back and stay there again.
I love this little hotel it feels like a home. I am on the road a lot traveling for work and stay in a lot of hotels non as friendly and homie as this one. I have been home sick and this place helped me feel a bit less home sick Thank you so much.

Have stayed here several times over the past 5-6 years. Rooms are always clean. Staff, which is all family members, is always courteous. Food at the restaurant is always good. Close to Cooperstown, NY & the Baseball Hall of Fame!! Bruce & Susan run a great motel & restaurant!!

I like how the owners take the time to know you and they really do care about their customers. The restaurant on the property is great and they know how to make you feel at home. I love coming to this area and staying at KC's.
What a hidden gem!! It was like coming home to a long lost family. The room was very comfortable and clean and we had a very restful nights sleep. We awoke to a delicious breakfast fit for royalty. We had only planned on staying the night but extended our stay, promising to return yearly for a welcomed break.
KC's has plenty of rooms that are clean and well kept. The Diner is within walking distance and dogs are welcome. The owners Bruce and Susan treat you like family and go the extra mile to help out their customers. The food is wonderful, especially the Pot Roast (it is to die for) and the bacon cheeseburgers and extra crispy fries are pretty good too!
When we stayed there this past summer, we had a great time. It was easy to register and pay. The rooms were clean and had a country theme. Having the restaurant in walking distance was great. Getting up every morning to someone else doing the cooking. Prices for everything was good. Recommend checking it out.

What a pleasant surprise when I arrived at this local motel and discovered a clean, cozy room with super friendly staff and a great restaurant with good home cooking and great prices. Pet friendly too which is very important to me. I loved it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend KC's to anyone traveling to this area!
